Driven by a 3.0-liter V6 Duratec engine
capable of delivering 230 hp of raw
power. The V6 is matched to a four-speed
automatic transmission and an
independent suspension with an

post-industrial plastic waste, making
the Escape one of the first generation
vehicles to use Recycled materials in

now standard in the Escape, and the
interior is visually appealing. On the
road, attention to acoustics and sound
deadening materials have made the cabin

and curtain airbags (Safety Canopy) are

road manners and standard stability
